For some lucky whitewater fans, earning 30 years of free rafting trips will be almost as easy as saying, “Happy Birthday.â€
ACE Adventure Resort, West Virginia’s largest whitewater rafting outfitter, announced this week it plans to reward 10 creative fans with a free rafting trip for each of the next 30 years. The resort will celebrate its 30th birthday in May, and the contest is a major part of the celebration, according to ACE marketing director Beth Gill.

Yesterday Vestas Sailrocket effortlessly posted the second fastest nautical mile run ever. Not bad for a boat that was in ruins 18 days earlier with the pilot flat-out in a hospital bed.
Whilst yesterday was a bit light to hit top speeds, conditions were pretty ideal to ramp up the check-out of Vestas Sailrocket in preparation for what is to come.
Once we realised that the conditions were peaking we set off for a shot at the nautical mile.
