Yes, that would be the same Lotus founded by Colin Chapman, one of the greatest innovators racing ever saw. The same Lotus that revolutionized F1 on more than one occasion.

Mt Dobson skifield turns 30 this year and it’s still a family operation.

The ski area is opening on Saturday, three weeks ahead of schedule, after better snow conditions than last year.

Mt Dobson has been owned and run by the Foote family since 1979 when they began developing it from a tractor-powered rope tow. Peter and the late Shirley Foote developed the road to the summit over four years, after a lengthy application process with the Department of Lands and Survey.
