GOODYEAR, AZ — The theft of nearly a dozen bikes from a west Valley race track has dealt a hard blow to disadvantaged kids hoping to compete this weekend.
Thieves made off with nine of the specialized bikes that were donated to the Estrella Mountain BMX track in Goodyear.
Lynette Hill, who runs the non-profit race track, discovered the track building’s door wide open Monday morning.
