The 2009 Nazaré World Master is out of the IBA World Tour due to financial reasons 

The 4Lines Sport´s Concepts SA, the City hall of Nazaré and Nazaré Qualifica, E.M., want to communicate to the entire world bodyboard community, the cancellation of the Nazaré World Master, that would take place in Praia do Norte – Nazaré, during November 2009.

This postponement is due to  financial reasons mainly,  that affect directly, the realization of this event , that would promote our sport in an international level, regarding TV, video, general press and online media…  Details 

Thunder, lightening, and a sick engine ruined the Italian Grand Prix for the female powerboating champions Shelley Jory and Audrienne Ciantar.

The sun was shining for the Italian Grand Prix from 3-5 July, and in extreme heat Southamptoner Shelley and her race partner Audreinne, in Iko Casa 44, put in a grand performance in the sprint race of the Italian Grand Prix, at San Benedetto Del Tronto. They took a strong third place on the podium and secured their championships points following the fantastic win at the Turkish Grand Prix in June. When you combine a collection of wealthy individuals who have a penchant for speed and exotic sports cars, you get what is known in some circles as Gumball 3000. For a decade participants have driven across 40 different countries on public roads, often at high speed and in most cases loving every minute of it. Today’s events are typically 6 days and cover some 3,000 miles but like any kind of high speed antics on public road ways, the odd competitor comes unstuck and often with spectacular results.

The concept is actually not a new one and modern Gumball rallies have their origins in the exploits of motorcycle racer “Cannonball” Baker, who traversed the USA coast to coast in around 54 hours in the 1930’s. Riley Technologies Camaro Set for 2009 KONI Challenge Debut

Mooresville, NC (9 July 2009)– After months of anticipation, America’s hottest new car has started to hit the streets nationwide and before the end of the year, will be hitting the tracks as well.

The all-new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has been making a big impression wherever it rolls up, and Riley Technologies expects the machine to have a similar effect when it makes a competition debut in the Grand-Am KONI Sports Car Challenge in the season-ending event at Virginia International Raceway on October 2-4.
