A new continental kiteboard tour has been sanction by the IKA to commence at towards the end of this year in Asia. The competition tour will be known as the Kiteboard Tour Asia (KTA) and has been approved at the continental tour level.
The KTA tour will be the first of its kind in the Asia region and aims to highlight the growing kiteboarding scene there, promote the opportunity for the more local riders to gain the experience of international competition and perhaps act as a springboard towards higher levels of the professional tours in the future.
