In an interview published in British-based motorsport magazine Autosport, the multiple rally world champion Sebastien Loeb has cast doubt on whether he will continue in the sport when the category introduces Super 2000 regulations, culminating in a complete switchover by 2011.

The five-time world champion, who also heads the 2009 standings after wins in both of the opening events, is quoted as having some damning opinions of the new regulations.

“I have a good idea of the speed [of S2000 cars], and the times are quite slow.”

Looking for his own version of ‘Spring Break’, NASCAR Cup team owner/driver Robby Gordon will spend his week off from pavement racing by returning to his desert racing roots as one of 10 overall winners from the last 13 years entered in this week’s 23rd Annual Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250.

Round 2 of the 2009 SCORE Desert Series will be held Friday through Sunday in Mexico’s quaint and picturesque fishing village of San Felipe, located on the East side of the Baja California peninsula along the azure waters of the tranquil Sea of Cortez.

…One of the reasons I have loved enjoi, ever since they began, is that their ads already approach you with what you’re going to think anyway. As a skateboarder, no matter what type of person you are, you are bound to open up a magazine and either 1) talk sh*t on what you see or 2) make an innocent joke about what you see, even though you might like the skater or the company or whatever. None of these jokes are to be taken seriously, which is the beauty behind it all. And, when you open up to one ofenjoi’s ads, they have basically said that little joke that you probably would have associated with that picture…. Details and excellent photos

vail-cycling1I have spring fever. I doubt I will ski again unless it’s an 8-inch-plus powder day.

For me, this means getting outside and riding my road bike and my motorcycle. My regular road bike loop is from West Vail to the dead end on Bighorn Road in East Vail and back.

I am also doing the Triple Bypass (again) this year, and the sooner I get to training, the better. I do have rollers for training inside, but I have always felt like a hamster when I train indoors. I didn’t move to Colorado to spend time exercising indoors….  Details
