SANTA CRUZ — The surf-rock sounds of local bands Ribsys Nickel, Voodudes, Parafins and Costal Sage will help keep the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum afloat.
The band members, many of whom are surfers, have donated their performances to Surf City Rockathon, hosted by the Santa Cruz Surfing Club Preservation Society. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the grand ballroom of the Vets Hall.
