Lance Armstrong, preparing for next week’s Leadville Trail 100-Mile Mountain Bike showdown with six-time winner Dave Wiens, won the professional men’s cross country race Saturday at Colorado’s “Blast the Mass” in Snowmass, Colo.

Armstrong, third overall in this year’s Tour de France, easily defeated a field of regional pros on the 23-mile technical mountain bike course that featured 4,700 feet of climbing.
