Nate Holland and Lindsey Jacobellis won the the World Cup snowboard cross races today in Bad Gastein, Austria, improving their chances of making the U.S. Olympic team.

SANTIAGO, Chile — Nasser Al-Attiyah of Qatar won the ninth stage of the Dakar Rally, cutting into the overall lead of Carlos Sainz of Spain. In the motorbike category, Marc Coma of Spain won the 210-mile stage from Copiapo to La Serena.
