The Arica Chilean Challenge, the Fourth Stage of IBA World Tour, was started in perfect conditions with 6-8 feet waves at El Gringo. The first round was completed along with five more heats of round 2 were completed on this first day.

Aguascalientes, Mexico (May 13, 2010) — Following the U.S. team’s successful showing during the road race portion of the Pan American Road and Track Championships, American riders broke two world records and earned an additional five medals in the track competitions last week. 

Sarah Hammer (Temecula, Calif./American Track Foundation) won continental titles in the individual pursuit and the omnium, and then joined Dotsie Bausch (Irvine, Calif./ATF Empire Coaching Systems) and Lauren Tamayo (Asheville, N.C./Peanut Butter & Co TWENTY 12) to earn another continental title in the women’s team pursuit.
