Today was all about shear Kauai dominance. Out island riders did have a good showing with Ha’a Auweloa placing 1st in his early heats to make it all the way to the semis. This locked in his first event title at the USBA SCIENCE Hawaii regional tour in the 13-18 division. Outside of Ha’a it was a show put on by the locals.

Once again the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) 4-Star SuperSurf International was taken by a newcomer, this time two new faces made the Final. Caetano Vargas, 22, from Parana took his first ASP event at the SuperSurf Internacional over Magno Pacheco, 21, from Sao Paulo.
In the Semifinals, both surfers defeated the favorites Renato Galvao and David do Carmo early in the morning of this Sunday. An event held in incredible scenic conditions came to an end yesterday, with Lake Silvaplan, the worlds highest kiteboarding spot, providing sufficient wind for all disciplines.
Snow covered mountains set the scenery for the fourth stop of the Kite Tour Europe in Switzerland, and the thermal winds did not fail to deliver.
