S. Disabled Sailing Championship – The 2010 US SAILING National Championship season comes to a conclusion this weekend in St. Petersburg, Fla. The true spirit of competitive sailing will be on display at the USDSC, hosted by the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, for three days of racing on Tampa Bay this Friday through Sunday (Dec. 3-5). The U.S. Disabled Sailing Championship is the only sailing national championship for disabled sailors. This championship is one of two qualifying events for the 2011 US SAILING Team AlphaGraphics’ Paralympic classes.

Red Bull Racing officials confirmed Wednesday the team’s contract with Scott Speed has been terminated, effectively ending a seven-year association with the brand. Earlier in the afternoon, Speed revealed on his Twitter account that he had received a termination letter as of Nov. 24.

The historic British motorcycle brand Norton is set to return to the United States with its Commando 961′s next year. Heading up Norton’s push into the US market is former Ducati North America CEO Dan Van Epps, who also served time with Ducati in Bologna, acting as the company’s Director of Overseas Markets and Head of Product Marketing. Starting in May 2011, Van Epps and his crew will begin importing Norton Commando 961 Sport, Café Racer, and SE models. Built off the classic Norton lines, the Commando 916 series features a 916cc fuel-injected parallel twin motor, along with Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes.
