It has been challenging season for Elena Hight, who has chronicled all of the ups and downs she has tackled this winter in her series, Hight Hopes. After the Breckenridge Grand Prix was canceled and the Mammoth Grand Prix scheduled two competitions in one day, Elena wasn’t able to land the run that she wanted and didn’t secure a spot on the Olympic Team. Just as Elena has overcome the challenges thrown at her thus far in the season, we here at SNOWBOARDER are positive she will continue to do so as the season continues. This weekend, Elena will drop into the halfpipe at X Games Aspen and we’re really excited to watch her thrown down.
