Chase has been working hard on the contest circuit this year. He tried for a spot on the US Olympic team, won the Burton US Open qualifying event at Seven Springs, Pennsylvania but couldn’t find a major podium. The Double Pipe was a different story, however. After the practice rounds many observers were predicting Chase would take the win. He came in just shy of first but still put down one of the best runs of his season.
