Most of the time found behind the camera, Louis Lhomel sometimes switches the roles around and jumps in front of it in the most natural ways there is. Blame it on Covid, everyone was stuck home most of the year so far, but luckily Louis had just moved to a new spot in Montreal with a freshly built skatepark about 5 minutes away.
While shredding the new park regularly, Louis linked up with Montreal BMX rider and cinematographer Lukas Adam Chassé and they decided to work on this part together. Lukas is a BMX mogul in Montreal, mostly known for his implication with the Mannish BMX crew; from producing a full length video with them among many other video projects.

All it took was two hard-hitting video parts, a plethora of magazine coverage, and a victory at the 2018 Street League Pro Open in London. Now he is one of the most in-demand skaters around the world, after signing with Nike SB and turning pro for April Skateboards. If all goes according to plan, Yuto will be at the Olympics in 2020, debuting skateboarding in his hometown of Tokyo, where his father taught him how to skate when he was seven-years-old
Leading up to the lockdown I’d been on the road a lot. Gone a lot. Mexico, South America, Fiji, Indo, Hawaii, with plans to keep going. But as the world shut down the ability to disappear was stripped and we were all left sitting in our houses nostalgic about yesterday.
