The Hurley Surf Club is a pretty cool program where pro surfers can critique your surfing. This day Rob Machado was surfing his Go Fish board in San Diego, and I went to check it out.
Coming in hot, straight off the back of the Vans Pro Cup in Malaga, Dylan Lewis came to ride in the south of England. The good guys at Seventies Distro took us around to sample some of the finer concrete in the south east including Hastings, Brighton, Clissold Park and Sheet trails.
With 500 riders lined up at the start of the race on the quarry floor of the Iron Giant, the tension and anticipation of what was to follow was menacing. 25 sections covering over 35km of the toughest enduro terrain known to man stood between those riders and the finish line, with the majority of the line up knowing they’d never make it.
