Staying at the Red Bull house right on the beach with Pipeline in the back yard it was a great experience being able to be so close to the action and put time in at one of the heaviest places in the world. On the flip side of the coin, there is so much surf to ride that step outside the scene and getting some great rides was almost the best part of the trip.

Along for the ride was Max Fredriksson who is a very talented freeride mountain biker, it was fun to fins awesome riding spots with him because he is so good at doing tricks when we found the ridable features.
