Sixteen-year-old Rangiora student Matt Summerfield is taking the good oil with the bad as he prepares to contend the 2009 New Zealand Rally Championship in the five-round competition’s first diesel-powered entry.
The Rally of Hawke’s Bay on April 4-5 will be the first rally run for the Class 2 turbo-diesel Skoda Fabia vRS built by Auckland rally enthusiast Allan Geddes and motor dealership Giltrap Prestige.

Snowboarding has hardly been considered a winter pastime for kids in urban areas. But 35-year-old Brian Paupaw, a graphic designer and snowboarder from Brooklyn, New York, is hoping to change that.
