Its great to be able to be capture and just be around a community of people that take care of their own. This was another quick project for Rockstar that came out pretty cool. The interviews look terrible because they were left for the end of the day and i didn’t have a fast enough lens on me at the moment. Run and Gun…. enjoy.
MARRAWAH, Tasmania/Australia (Tuesday, March 23, 2010) – Fresh out of the Australian summer season, many of the world’s top surfer were delivered a coming-of-winter reality check as day 1 of the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) 6-Star Rated O’Neill Cold Water Classic began on Tasmania’s frontier north west coastline.Â
Full wetsuits along with hoods were pulled out as a strong and cold westerly wind delivered uneven 1m increasing surf in the slightly protected Nessle Bay.Â
Local surfer Ben Richardson (Tasmania/Scamander) obviously is fully acclimatised to these conditions and he surfed and won through three quick heats in succession.Â
Richardson opened the day by winning his heat and final of the trials, which saw eight Tasmanian surfers compete for two wild card positions into the main event  … Details
Quiksilver – March 23, 2010 – At the age of 27, Candide Thovex has pulled off a truly impressive feat, by winning the Freeride World Tour 2010 at the first time of asking. He sealed the title by tying for third place in this morning’s Final in Verbier, Switzerland. The Quiksilver rider is now World Freeride Champion 2010, taking his place in the freeride hall of fame alongside Roxy Girl Aline Bock, who was crowned on Saturday in the Snowboarding category.
