A year after hosting one of the most amazing matchups in the sport’s history between Shaun White (Carlsbad, CA) and Danny Davis (Detroit, MI), Mammoth Mountain is back again to host the 2011 Sprint U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix, March 2-6, for the second consecutive year and fifth overall. The tour returned to Mammoth last season as a part of Olympic selection after a several year break.
The Paul Mitchell Progression Session, a staple at the Grand Prix events, will launch a standalone slopestyle competition.

The sun has set on the final day of the O’neill Coldwater Classic Canada, and Australia’s Josh Kerr comes away with the victory over Eric Gieselman in the final.
The beach known North Chesterman’s in Tofino provided small but fun ramps over the last few days which saw a field 96 surfers whittled down to today’s 8 quarterfinalists, then down to the lone victor, Mr. Kerr. An incredible display of aerial surfing was put forth today, as almost every heat was won in the air.
