Courtney Conlogue: During the US Open of Surfing, Kaenon’s Courtney Conlogue was named the Female OC Surfer of the Year, for the fourth year in a row, at a ceremony held on the corner of PCH and Main Street in Huntington Beach, CA. Dekra Test Oval, Klettwitz, Germany, 2nd August 2011. Francesco Russo set a new one-hour world record with human powered vehicle, named Eiviestretto. He covered 91.556 kilometers. The vehicle is basically a product of longlasting development of Slovenian team “Eivie” with Damjan Zabovnik as the leader. The rider lies inside on his back, head first. For navigation he uses a mirror. Swiss Francesco also helped to Damjan with the latest design and by building the vehicle. So, two designers-builders and pilots (riders) joined together and after only one year of cooperation, but after many years of their attempts seperately, the world record is the least what they deserve.
