Kelly Slater wants to lay back and relax. Actually, that doesn’t mean he will be less competitive, but the Floridian has told he is trying to kill the perfectionist within. Well, how does it work for him?
“It drives me crazy but I really am,” Slater told AAP in New York. “I was really hard on myself when I was growing up. I put a lot of pressure on myself for good grades at school. My older brother didn’t do great at school and my mum felt a bit let down”.

ACWS Plymouth – Green Comm Racing capsizes
Green Comm Racing, the Spanish team, capsized during training on Monday, while Artemis Racing takes to Plymouth Sound for the first time.
The Northern Territory Amateur Fishermen’s Association says people who wakeboard in crocodile-infested waters are “complete idiots” and could ruin some of the best fishing spots in the Top End.
ABC local radio in Darwin has received pictures of people wakeboarding at Corroboree Billabong on the Mary River, south of Darwin.

Antron Brown raced to his third Lucas Oil Raceway win Monday as racing came to an end at the prestigious Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil.
