Oh come on, you weren’t expecting anything else from the next-generation 2011 Porsche 911 were you? It has looked this way for decades, so no matter how extensive the mechanical changes are to the 998-series of this classic sportscar, it’s always going to look familiar on the outside.
Judging from this prototype spotted recently on the Nurburgring test track, the rear end of this 911 will get the most extensive cosmetic changes. The car doesn’t look substantially larger in any direction, but from the rear three-quarter angle it appears as though the wheels are a little off from the bodywork, so some slight changes to the wheelbase and/or front and rear tracks may be in the works…Â Details, Pictures & VideoÂ
