Summer season is in full swing and we are itching to get up to the mountains for some high alpine lift access. Our first stop this summer is Coeur d’Alene and Kellogg, ID just across the border from Spokane, WA. Nestled in the Bitterroot Mountains of North Idaho, Coeur d’Alene sits at the edge of the Rockies on the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene. This small, lake resort community is home to the rich and famous with the likes of John Elway, John Travolta and even Oprah owning homes on its shores. But don’t let all that fool you. All the glitz and glamor aside, this area is an amazing spot for any outdoor recreation. From a lazy boat-ride around the lake to an Official Ironman, everyone can enjoy this extraordinary area.
