Costa Mesa event celebrating sport’s history brings together ‘family’ of legends.
Gregg Carroll has a message for his skating peers, and wrote down the words for his daughter Natalie to read in front of a group of more than 400 skate icons and fans.
“Look around you. If you’re a skater, then be grateful that you’re a member of this tribe of skateboarders,” Natalie read from the letter as he was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. Her father had written the letter before he died in November in Dana Point. “The friends I’ve made have been a divine blessing. … Never, never, never lose your stoke for skateboarding.” … More
