TODAY, YOU have the chance to actively oppose offshore oil drilling on our coast. President Barrack Obama’s Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is holding an all-day critical public comment hearing that will shape American energy policy for years to come. Government officials are seriously considering lifting the moratorium on offshore oil drilling in the United States. We strongly encourage you to come to this today’s (Thursday April 16) hearings at UCSF and protect our California coast from oil!
Surfrider San Francisco, Sierra Club, Save The Waves, Kill The Spill crew and numerous other citizen groups & activists urge you to KILL THE DRILL and join the NOONTIME citizens’ rally today at the hearing to send a clear message that oil drilling is not an alternative.
