Co-owner of the Stewart-Haas Nascar racing team, Gene Haas, has said he wants to create a new Formula 1 team.
Haas, together with project partner Guenther Steiner, who is a previous technical director of Red Bull and Jaguar, responded to a recent call from F1 for potential new teams to express interest, and Haas’s proposal is now thought to have been entered into the sport’s evaluation process.
