Snowboarder Danny Davis earns a stunning shot at redemption

He lost his Olympic shot in Vancouver, and wasn’t supposed to make Sochi

Danny Davis looked ready to set the world ablaze weeks before the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. After handily beating Shaun White in the halfpipe at an Olympic qualifier in Mammoth Mountain, he followed the next week with a Dew Tour victory. Davis was considered White’s biggest threat, and the future never looked brighter.
