A giant swell is forecasted to produce wave faces up to 18 feet
The final day of the 2013 Billabong Pipeline Masters in Memory of Andy Irons is shaping up to be one of the best days ever for professional surfing. A swell with wave faces up to 18 feet is predicted to hit the North Shore of Oahu late Friday night and peak Saturday morning. Light offshore winds are also predicted, meaning giant tubes will be on offer to the remaining surfers.
