You would have to be stranded on an island, no pun intended, not to know about the destructive turn of events that recently occurred in the Philippines, where Typhoon Haiyan tore through the densely populated Cebu City. In her aftermath, four million people have been displaced, according to reports, and days ago the Wall Street Journal reported that “Typhoon Haiyan killed at least 3,982 people, injured 18,266 people, and 1,602 are missing.” … Pictures and more
