A dedicated group of winter enthusiasts is pulling out all the stops to get people on the snow this season. The people behind Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, which kicks off in January, started pushing their initiative a few years ago, and have evolved into one of the premier advocates for beginners in snow sports. This season they are expanding their program to encourage those involved in skiing and snowboarding to help introduce their friends and family to the slopes with the help of licensed instructors.
