Windsurfing – Janis Preiss sails 198 miles to connect Latvia to Sweden

Janis Preiss has sailed for 11 hours to cross the Baltic Sea, from Liepaja to the Gotland Island.

The Latvian windsurfer had this dream for eight years. Preiss wanted to be the first windsurfer to connect Latvia and Sweden, in a 320-kilometer (198.8 miles) journey.
