Remember when Jordy Smith, South Africa’s best surfer, won the Billabong Pro, Rio De Janeiro? Yeah, you remember. It was a fine hour, his first WCT win outside of his native South Africa (he’s won the Billabong Pro, J Bay twice), and one of the best competition performances we’ve see from the man.
