Two new leaders have emerged as we hit the halfway point of the USA Cycling Pro Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT). The fifth of 10 stops on the tour was held on May 26 at the Gravity Open at Plattekill Mountain in Roxbury, N.Y. The weather wreaked havoc on the Plattekill Mountain course with six inches of snow at the double summit and relentless wind and wet snow at the base.
Anne Galyean (Frederick, Md./Trek-Integrity Racing-Deity) conquered the elements to win the gold medal and in doing so claimed the top spot in the Pro GRT women’s standings over the idle Robyn Embrey … More
