While part of the team is chasing down, the ‘Blue Ribbon’, a speed record on Lake Geneva with l’Hydroptère.ch, and Hydros sailors are preparing the Class C World Championship in Falmouth (UK), Team Hydros has launched the Hydro Contest, a competition for university students in technical and engineering schools. Their challenge? Build a transport boat that is both fast and energy efficient.
The competition was made possible thanks to a collaboration with the ETH Lausanne (EPFL) and to the support of Lombard Odier and Cie and the Services Industriels de Genève (SIG).
