Mexico is beefing up security involving the 62nd Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race, according to federal, state and local authorities.
‘We know there’s violence in some places, but it’s not spread all around the country,’ Carlos RodrÃguez y Quezada, a consul of Mexico based in Santa Ana, was quoted in the Daily Pilot of Costa Mesa. ‘People have asked for more arrangements to be more safe,’ and he said such measures have been taken.
