Windsurfing – Antoine Albeau improves the fastest speed record

Antoine Albeau has broken the world speed windsurfing record, at the Luderitz Speed Challenge, in Namibia.

The French speed racer sailed at 49.41 knots over 500 metres to beat his own 2008 record of 49.09 knots. The fastest sailing record ever set by Rob Douglas (55.65 knots), a kiteboarder, is not far away  …  More
