As residents in the Eastern U.S. flee the coast for safety with the looming threat of Hurricane Sandy, Californians hit the beach to strut their Halloween costumes in a surfing contest in Santa Monica on Saturday.
Scores of revelers rode the waves donning their favorite disguises in the 4th annual ‘Haunted Heats’ Halloween costume surf contest hosted by the ZJ Boarding House.
‘Santa Monica has never looked so fearsome with hoards of ghouls, ghosts and goblins crawling along the beach looking for that perfect tube!
