CHICO — Parts of the trip were beautiful. Sometimes it was painful. And sometimes it was “brutal.” Most of all, it was a success.
Michael Kearns, Kevin Hanley and Eric Jones spent a chunk of their summer traveling 700 miles from Brookings, Ore. to San Luis Obispo — on long skateboards. Most of the trip was on State Highway 1.
