LONDON — Short track speed skating met NASCAR-style racing on a warm Friday afternoon at the London Games.
Bicycle motocross, a k a BMX, draws such comparisons. The hippest, youngest sport of the Summer Olympics had its second go-around on the international stage much to the delight of fans not used to the devil-may-care driving skills of riders on tricked-out bicycles.
