After that, drag racing is all about the first 60 feet.
“That’s the best part. You’ve got 700 to 800 horsepower and put the pedal to the floor and feel the G-force push you back into your seat and hold on for the ride,” said Wade Metzinger.
Metzinger has been drag racing for 10 years, and for about five years at the Tulsa Raceway Park. Because he likes spending weekends at the track, he decided to drag his wife into racing as well.
