Hundreds of BMX bicycles went charging around the Trilogy Park track Saturday as riders hoping to make a name for themselves competed in the Quaker State National BMX race.
Male and female riders from along the East Coast, and of all ages, shapes and sizes were out despite the sweltering temperatures on the track. As their name, age and class blared out of the loudspeakers that were perched above the track, many riders pushed faster to cheers from the crowd.
