There are many surfers from all walks of life who form and shape what the surf culture has become today. Perhaps they are considered among the best in the world, and perform in ways that change the way waves are ridden, or the surf coach who tirelessly hits the sand at 6 a.m. with the high schoolers to stay in school – even if they are pursuing the pro surfer dream.
