This week’s Rise Above introduces Buddy Elias who lost his leg due to a rare disease called Thromboangiitis Obliterates (aka “Buerger’s Disease”). Buddy was a skateboarder prior to surgery and after the doctors removed his leg, he turned to skateboarding to keep himself anchored and comeback from his struggle.
