Mammoth Mountain-owned June Mountain is being closed “indefinitely,†according to a company source, while it assesses the profitability of the mountain, which has operated at a deficit for the last several seasons. Mammoth was hit hard by this winter’s meager snowfalls and has been implementing aggressive cost cutting measure since early this year.
