RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA – For nearly 10 years Ashton Maxfield has watched skate star Ryan Sheckler grow.
Maxfield, 32, first met Sheckler when the San Clemente skater was 14 and breaking onto the skateboard scene in a big way.
Now Sheckler, 22, is one of the world’s best professional skateboarders and continues to win contests while pushing the limits on street skating.
