Everything was bigger at Ho‘okipa Beach Park for the 9th Annual Ian Walsh’s Menehune Mayhem than previous years. The all-day, free junior surf event was bombarded with wave face heights in the 8-to 12-foot range. The surf was triple overhead for most of the young competitors and tested their mettle.
