Surfing – Scotts Valley’s Shaughnessy wins shortboard title at ISF state championships

Patrick Shaughnessy, a Scotts Valley High senior, won the shortboard title at the Interscholastic Surfing Federation state championships Monday in Oceanside.

Cheyne Pearson of Harbor High took third and Noah Wegrich of Aptos took fourth in the final, making it a near sweep for Central Coast Section teams. …  Details
