To the delight of Lake Tahoe’s jib-starved legions, the first ski lift in California started spinning Friday afternoon at Boreal Mountain Resort on Donner Summit. The previous week of cold nights in the Sierra allowed Boreal to make enough snow to open one 100 percent man-made run. The open slope featured terrain park obstacles top to bottom.Â
