Imperial Beach — More than 150 surfers from California and Latin America joined together on Sunday October 16th at the Imperial Beach Pier to compete in the 8th Annual WiLDCOAST Dempsey Holder Ocean Festival and Surf Contest. “This was the best and biggest Dempsey ever because we brought surfers from the U.S. and Latin America together to surf and celebrate the preservation of our common coastal and ocean heritage,†said Serge Dedina, Executive Director of WiLDCOAST.
